This training will introduce some key approaches to develop KS2 children’s writing so that they both achieve greater depth and enjoy writing. It will focus on how short-burst writing followed by model texts can be used to develop key writing tools so that children can increasingly use these effectively in their own writing. This will be combined with exploring how rich reading influences writing so that children are learning from and inspired by the best of writing.
