Stephen Davies

Stephen is an experienced English teacher. He has taught at The King’s School Canterbury, and was Head of English at Canford. He was Director of Studies at Kitebrook House and is now at Bryanston where he teaches English and is Housemaster of Beechwood House. He was a governor of Knighton House until its merger with Bryanston. Throughout his career he has been involved in the marking of Common Entrance and teaching Shells.

A keen writer, Stephen studied at the University of East Anglia under Malcolm Bradbury where he achieved an MA with Distinction and a BA Hons First Class in English and Comparative Literature. He organised the SATIPS Poetry Competition for a number of years as he enjoys the writing and promoting of poetry in junior schools.
