Ben is currently Deputy Head at Longacre School, where he took up post in September 2016. This role includes being the DSL, Health & Safety Officer and Educational Visits Coordinator. Longacre is a co-ed, day prep school for 2-11 years.
Prior to this Ben was Senior Teacher & Director of Sport at Rokeby School, for nearly seven years. In 2019, Ben stepped down as Chair of the Independent Schools PE Conference after 10 years in position and was made President 12 months later. In addition to his role at SATIPS, Ben is currently Chair and trustee of the local Village Nursery as well as a Governor at a local primary school and IAPS School. Ben is a Physical Education and Games specialist but has also taught KS2 Maths, Science & ICT.
