After creating our atmospheric, twilight backgrounds using chalk pastel, we used the splatter technique to evoke a starry sky. Our fantasy dragons were then traced on to card, painted shades of green and embellished with collage materials such as shiny paper, silver foil and glitter. For a finishing touch the dragon was given an eye and some warm flames folded to portray fire.
