Test your pupils’ general knowledge with our annual popular challenge that is open for registration now.
The SATIPS Challenge is our annual general knowledge quiz consisting of 100 questions and is open to entries from all SATIPS member schools. The Senior paper is sat by years 7 & 8, while the Junior is sat by those in year 6 and below.
The Challenge is administered internally at a time convenient for your school within a set period. This year that period runs from Monday 27th January and Friday 7th February – an extended timeframe to allow schools as much opportunity to get involved as possible.
The recommended time for the Challenge is 30-45 minutes. Once completed, papers are sent off to be marked externally and prizes are given to the top 50 entrants in each section.
Individual scores can be returned to schools, which means you can use it as an internal competition as well as part of the wider SATIPS Challenge.
The 2025 SATIPS Challenge is now open for registration – register by simply completing the form.
We have frozen prices for the Challenge for 2024. This means for schools entering (in total), prices are:-
1-20 pupils, £3 per entry
21-50 pupils, £2.50 per entry
51-99 pupils, £2.25 per entry
100-149 pupils, £2 per entry
150 pupils, £1.50 per entry
Once you are registered, another form will be issued closer to the time for the exact numbers from which the invoices will be created.
We look forward to receiving your entries and making the SATIPS Challenge 2025 better than ever.
