Do you want to adopt a “meaningful, manageable and motivating” perspective to marking? Are you looking to make marking more manageable whilst still adding value?
SATIPS’ webinar on Tuesday, November 10th (3pm-5.30pm) will help do just that.
During the webinar, which will be useful to all prep school teachers but is particularly suited to teachers of Years 3-8, you will learn how to upgrade your marking and feedback to ensure that all pupils:
- make rapid progress
- deepen learning
- know how to improve
- are engaged
The webinar will help you to mark smarter, not harder, and to create a meaningful “marking dialogue”, as well as developing a consistent approach and using differentiated and qualitative feedback to personalise learning.
Speaker John Medlicott is the Director of JMC Education, having held a number of key academic and pastoral leadership roles in schools and colleges. As a teacher trainer and school improvement consultant he is regularly graded as “outstanding” by delegates on their evaluation forms. He has recently spoken on challenge and differentiation at a National Conference for Deputy Headteachers and is a regular Keynote speaker and workshop provider in School Leadership and Teaching and Learning.
