At the end of the webinar there will be an opportunity to ask Paul questions.
SPEAKER: Chartered Geographer, Paul Baker

The webinar will be led by Paul Baker, Chartered Geographer, FRGS, MA (Geography and Education) University of Buckingham PGCE Geography Tutor and MA Supervisor. He is a member of SATIPS Council.
Paul taught Geography for 38 years in both Secondary Independent and Prep Schools and he was IAPS Geography Adviser for over 20 years. He has served on the Council of the Royal Geographical Society and was Chair of the Independent School Special Interest Group of the Geographical Association for many years. He will show how local areas provide an opening for enquiry work and fieldwork and how fieldwork can stimulate interest and consolidate learning.

DETAILS:
The webinar will be delivered via GoToMeeting. Delegates can either use their own webcams/microphones to ask questions or they can do so via a chat box. You will need a link to the meeting room which will be emailed one week in advance with instructions on using the video conferencing site. You can either join in via a web browser, by downloading an app on to your laptop or via a phone or tablet.
