Sir Anthony Seldon, Vice Chancellor of Buckingham University and previously Master of Wellington College, political historian, commentator and author is co-founder of Action for Happiness along with Lord Layard and Geoff Mulgan. Action for Happiness is heavily pro-family and sets about deepening the bonds between husband and wife, parents and children, families and grandparents. It is pro-community.
Katherine Weare is Honorary Visiting Professor at the University of Exeter and Emeritus Professor at the University of Southampton. A well known UK expert on the theory, practice and evidence for social and emotional learning and mental health in school, she is currently working with colleagues at Exeter to develop and evaluate Mindfulness to work together effective and use the principles of “what works”. She is trained to teach adult mindfulness (MBSR) and has a long term mindfulness practice.
Tamsin Ford is Professor of Child and Adult Psychiatry at the University of Exeter Medical School. She leads a group of researchers whose work focuses on the effectiveness of services and interventions to support mental health and well-being of children and young people. She is Editor in Chief of Child and and Adolescent Mental Health, Chair of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Surveillance Service and a found member of the CAMHS Outcome Research Consortium.
